Blazer

Blazer was one of three studs in the Jacksonville seizure of June 2011. This handsome Quarter Horse was among the most healthy of the nine horses rescued, but he was one of the most skittish. He sustained a training injury that prevented us from developing him under saddle. Over the years, we have devoted lots of time to this guy and just worked on getting him to accept humans in his space. He required lots of TLC to recover from his emotional scars. Blazer is now the biggest snuggle bug and soaks up all the attention you can give him. A more gentle horse has never graced the planet.

Blazer has excellent manners. We can easily trim his feet, provide veterinary care and handle him without issue. This gorgeous 21 year old gelding is an excellent pasture mate and is kind and playful with other horses. Blazer would LOVE to be adopted with his BFF, Jett.
