Bailey

Bailey is a 28-year-old Clydesdale cross. In December of 2016, we rescued this gorgeous girl from her "rescuers," who had purchased her from a kill pen with no experience with horses. Unfortunately, they made matters worse, and we ended up saving Bailey from their benign neglect. As she started to gain weight and get healthy with our rehab, we realized that Bailey was pregnant. On June 9, 2017, she gave birth to the healthy and stunningly beautiful Cloud Jumper.

Once Cloud Jumper was weaned and separated from Bailey, we tested Bailey to see if she could be a riding horse. She is broke to ride but is inconsistent in her reliability under saddle. Given her advanced age and past hard life, we elected to allow her to retire with dignity. Bailey has proven to be a very kind, happy, healthy pasture ornament. She's sweet to all her pasture mates and lives a pretty glorious life just being Bailey. She loves to be loved and doted upon so she would make a great partner for someone in search of an affectionate 4-legged best friend. Bailey’s only vice? She’s needle phobic and takes special handling for injections.
